If your product lingers too long under a 2000W tube, you&amp;rsquo;ll end up with a scorched exterior while the middle is still damp. It&amp;rsquo;s a balancing act.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Can you actually just pop one in without rebuilding the whole machine?&#xA;The short answer is yes, but you can&amp;rsquo;t just wing it.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The &amp;ldquo;Perfect Fit&amp;rdquo; Problem&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the thing about electricity: it doesn&amp;rsquo;t do &amp;ldquo;close enough.&amp;rdquo; Your wattage and voltage have to be a dead match for what your transformer is putting out.&#xA;If you put a 230V lamp into a 380V circuit, it’ll never get hot enough to actually dry your treats. Go the other way? Boom. The lamp pops instantly.&#xA;And it&amp;rsquo;s not just about the power. The physical size matters. If the lamp is even 5mm off-center from the reflector, your heat distribution goes wonky. You&amp;rsquo;ll end up with pet treats that are burnt on one side and raw on the other. Not a great look.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The Nitty-Gritty: Glass and Pins&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We use high-purity quartz because it doesn&amp;rsquo;t freak out when the temperature swings wildly. Plus, the halogen gas keeps the tube from turning black, so you keep that high heat transmission for a lot longer.&#xA;But the real heartbreak usually happens at the connector. Whether you&amp;rsquo;re dealing with R7s or SK15 sockets, the pins have to be tight. A loose fit is a nightmare—it creates electrical arcing, which melts your socket and kills the lamp. It&amp;rsquo;s a messy, expensive mistake.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The Reality Check&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Look, domestic lamps can hit the same heat density as the premium brands. But you&amp;rsquo;ve got to keep an eye on your timing.&#xA;High-wattage shortwave lamps get hot fast. That&amp;rsquo;s great for production, but it puts a lot of stress on your contactors. If you try to &amp;ldquo;overclock&amp;rdquo; your machine by pushing more wattage than the original specs to speed things up, you&amp;rsquo;re basically cooking your own wiring harness.&#xA;Just make sure your cooling fans are clean and actually spinning. If the heat builds up too much inside the oven housing, nothing lasts.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
